Privacy notice for applicants

This notice explains what we do with your details when you apply to work with New Way Work, on our website or through a form on Facebook or Instagram.

Who we are

New Way Work is part of MediaTuig B.V., Groenekanseweg 246, 3737 AL Groenekan, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 96665629. We are responsible for your application data (the "controller").

What we collect

• Your name, email address and WhatsApp number
• Where you live on Lombok
• Your answers about your experience, the software you use, working on-site and a video call
• Your showreel or portfolio link, and what you write to us
• Your CV, if you upload one
• If you apply through Facebook or Instagram: the same details, plus which ad or form you used

We never ask for sensitive data, such as your health or religion.

Why we use it

• To assess your application and to contact you about it by WhatsApp, email or a (video) call. Our basis is our legitimate interest in selecting candidates, and taking steps you ask for before a possible employment contract.
• To measure our ads. If you apply after clicking one of our ads, we tell Meta that the ad led to an application. Meta then only receives the click ID of that ad, never your name, email or phone number; you can stop this with the Decline button on the application page. With your permission we also use the Meta Pixel on our website. When you use a form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta processes your data itself. Our basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which ads work, and your consent for the Meta Pixel.
• We use an AI tool to help us read and summarise applications. A person always makes the decision. We do not make automated decisions about you.

Who receives your data

• Our recruitment team in the Netherlands and on Lombok
• PT Starianti Administrative Center in Mataram, our partner company on Lombok
• Our hosting provider, with servers in a data centre in Germany
• An AI service that helps us read applications
• Meta (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp), when you apply through Facebook or Instagram, when you apply after clicking one of our ads (only the click ID), when we contact you on WhatsApp, or when you allow the Meta Pixel on our website

We do not sell your data.

Outside the European Union

Our team and partner company on Lombok are in Indonesia, and the AI service we use to read applications is outside the European Union. Indonesia has no adequacy decision from the EU. We transfer data to our partner company under the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

How long we keep it

Up to four weeks after your application process ends, or one year if you agree to stay in our talent pool. If we hire you, your data moves to your employee file.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and you can withdraw permission you gave. Email hello@sprintstudio.nl and we will handle it within four weeks. We may ask you to confirm who you are.

Not happy with how we handle your data? You can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
